"Broadway Under the Stars" celebrates the 20 years of Timpanogos Valley Theatre! It will be a concert-style evening where individuals/small groups perform selections from the shows TVT has performed for the past 20 years. Auditions are open for adults 18 and older and will be held on August 20th from 7-9:30. The show will open and close with group numbers from the entire ensemble and the other numbers will be solos/small group songs.

Enter through the west entrance to check in at the Green Room.
For auditions, please select two pieces from shows TVT has produced (a list is available HERE). Find and bring recorded accompaniment for those pieces. Prepare a 60 second/32 bar segment of each song with your backing track. A sound system will be provided. Directors will select from the audition pieces and create a concert.
You can sign up for an audition time HERE. Also, please print and fill out this AUDITION FORM, complete with any conflicts, and bring it with you to your audition. If you are unable to print the form ahead of time, we will have some available at auditions to fill out there.
PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
There are no absences allowed for tech rehearsals or performances. Because there are so few rehearsals, conflicts for the other three rehearsals could impact your ability to be part of this show. This show depends on individuals who prepare outside of rehearsal. You will determine blocking for your song and come ready to perform it. You will be responsible for memorizing group numbers. Choreography videos will be shared via Google Drive so that you may review and practice choreography.

Backing Track Suggestions
There are a lot of options for finding a quality backing track for your piece. Karaoke through ITunes, and other websites, can be good options. Broadway Studio Orchestra (https://broadwaystudioorchestra.com/home) has full orchestral backing tracks for many shows.
